The 3-axle LHB 530C shunting locomotives are equipped with a hydraulic transmission and a V6 engine capable of delivering 475 kW. The two-speed turbo gearbox significantly reduces mechanical stress during speed changes.

The LHB 530C locomotives with the code TV41 are supplied with a booklet entitled TV41 in accordance with Decree 4572/1970.

Thanks to the checks required to obtain and update the TV41 booklet, these LHB 530C locomotives can operate in railway sidings, i.e., facilities such as industrial plants, logistics platforms, ports, or areas connected to the national railway infrastructure.
