The three-axle LHB 530C Decr 1-2015 shunting locomotives have a two-speed turbo gearbox and hydraulic transmission, and are equipped with a V6 diesel engine capable of delivering 475 kW.
The LHB 530C Decr 1-2015 locomotives have been authorised for commissioning pursuant to ANSF Decree 01/2015 and will be updated to meet the requirements of ANSFISA Decree 01/2023.
Thanks to this approval, they can operate for shunting activities within the service area of the Italian railway system network under concession to Rete Ferroviaria Italiana.
Each locomotive incorporates innovative systems that ensure precise and safe operation, offering total control during all phases of use.
- Safety systems: equipped with the TELOC-CASRAM system, which manages speed limitation, “departure check” and monitoring functions, as well as data recording
- Cameras: the cameras ensure the visibility of shunting signals even in areas of shadow, as well as allowing better visibility during shunting operations
- PLC system: combined with GSM data transmission, this allows data to be collected and transmitted from sensors on each locomotive and remote intervention to manage certain operating parameters
